I love wearing flip-flops during the summer months, however, I suffer from dry skin on my feet, what can I do to make them look more presentable?
Product solutions
Caroline from Shine would recommend CRÈME EXFOLIANTE - Decleor's exfoliating cream for the body which is extremely effective to use on areas such as feet, which require a stronger exfoliation. It has key ingredients such as Polyethylene Billets and Aloe Vera Gel, so this exfoliating cream eliminates all impurities and dead skin cells, thus leaving your skin feeling soft and smooth without irritating the epidermis. Use this product twice a week by massaging firstly onto dry skin, and then add water to allow the product to spread further.
AROMESSENCE™ ONGLES is an excellent nail care product for both the hands and feet, which can also be used on areas (thanks to its unique brush application) that require extra care e.g. the heels of your feet. This precious oil strengthens the nails and also encourages healing, combats premature signs of ageing and helps reduce the appearance of pigmentation marks. Apply AM and PM to hydrate the nails and stop them flaking. This is one of Caroline's personal favourite products.
BEAUTÉ DES PIEDS COMFORT FOOT CREAM is an ultra-nourishing care for feet under every day pressure. With active formula ingredients such as Avocado Oil (nourishing), Sage (softening and protecting), Cypress, Thyme and Australian Tea Tree (preventing excess perspiration), this foot cream hydrates, nourishes dry and intensely dry feet and soothes away rough heels. In order to achieve the best results for your feet apply after AROMESSENCE™ ONGLES.
Salon Treatment opinions
A SHINE LUXURY PEDICURE treatment is the best solution to treat dry feet. This luxury treatment combines the normal benefits of a regular pedicure e.g. conditioning nails and cuticles, filing rough skin on your feet, cutting nails and filing, massaging your lower leg and feet plus applying a warm paraffin wax mask to your feet leaving them silky smooth and wonderfully relxed.
Shine would recommend a course of 6 weekly treatments if your feet are very dry and rough - you would only pay for five. * Terms and conditions apply. Then when on a maintence programme your pedicures should be carried out every four to six weeks to keep your feet healthy and beautiful.
