I hope you have been enjoying the sunshine last week.  As a results loads of you have been having pedicures and facials to get ready for summer.  Yippee, summer's coming. 

 

Yesterday, I was in London on a course about the salon software system I have.  Yes, I know that sounds boring but it really isn't.  I promise. 

 

Over the next few months you will see lots of benefits of the new system.  For example, it is now possible for you to book online.  So if I am in a treatment you don't have to wait for a call back but can do it for yourself on my website www.shinewoking.co.uk.  It is also very easy to use so it is pretty cool stuff.   Occasionally, if I an not linked up to the internet you wil not be able to book there and then but by sending a message through the booking system I will contact you as soon as I am on line again.   

 

The other interesting thing is that I will be able to start a loyalty scheme.  Lots of you have heard me talking about the fact I wanted to implement one and after lots of research I have found a really good one where your loyalty points will be added automatically when you purchase a treatment or product at Shine.

 

The loyalty scheme is a bit like shopping at a supermarket but much better FREEBIES.  The way it will work is that you will be given a key tag which I will put on your key ring.  Each time you come in you will get a point for each pound spent on treatments and 2 points for product purchase.  When a certain amount of loyaly points is reached you can choose your FREE gift from a wide range of treatments or products. 

 

Yes, you did hear right, a FREE treatment or product.  The treatment will always for a new experience for you  ..... so if you have always wanted to try something new but didn't want to spend money in case you don't like it, this is great for you.  You could say it is a try new treatments/products  scheme.   Which I think is pretty cool. 

 

Also to link in with the new software system I am in the process of re-launching the shine ambassadors scheme.  The way it will work is that you can refer a friend by asking for some of our special invitations each you will give to them.  Each person that redeems an invitation towards their first treatment will get £5.00 off and you will also get loyalty points (worth at least £5.00) put on your card towards whichever loyalty you choose to redeem later.
