I have recently noticed fine lines around the eyes despite using an eye cream religiously day and night. The eye cream I have been using just disappears into the skin before I've finished patting it around the area so am thinking that it is no longer adequate for my skin. Can you give me some advice?
When using an eye cream, it should absorb into the eye area quickly as we do not want the cream to sit on top of the skin. If it does sit on the skin's surface it can lead to overloading the delicate skin around the eye area with too much product thus causing puffiness. The recommended amount to use for an eye cream is the size of a grain of rice - for both eyes which should be placed on the eye orbital bone.
If the skin around your eye area is dehydrated then the eye cream will absorb a lot quicker than usual as the skin will be quite thirsty.
