Many of you may be aware that I have been on a strategic weekend to work through some important projects in order to improve treatments and customer service at Shine. 
 
Recently, the following have been introduced and many more things are on there way
 
Customer feedback survey
 
Each customer will be given a customer feedback survey when they first come into Shine.  The survey is very important as it gives customers the chance to make recommendations and suggest improvements that can be made to Shine's treatments and services.  Caroline is excited that she can ask customers through the survey how they view the treatments she gives.   
 
The survey can also be down loaded from the Shine website home.
 
Card Machine
Due to customer demand, Shine are very pleased to announce that you can now pay by credit ot debit card.  This will make it much easier for customers to stock up on their favourite products and to purchase  treatment courses. 
 
Discounted Treatment courses
 
It isn't on the website yet but Shine have various different discounted treatment programmes available. These will be published on the website and on new price lists soon(by September).  If want to find out more please ask.    
 
Air Con/Dehumidifer/Heater Unit
 
With the strange muggy weather we have been having we have installed an air con unit.  This helps the treatment room environment be much more comfortable for our customers.  The unit is not switched on during treatments so you will not be disturbed with the fan or be too cold.  
 
The unit will also provide heat in the winter months.    
 
Introductory Video on Website
 
We now have an introductory video on the shine website.  Caroline hopes it will help potential customers get a flavour of the benefits and the experience that Shine has to offer customers when they choose to have treatments with us.    
 
Recommendation Invitations to Shine
 
Shine has been very lucky to have many new people referred to us by our existing customers.  Thanks so much to you guys.  We have now designed a recommedation invitation for you to give to your friends. 
 
The bonus for new customers is that they can benefit from £5.00 discount off of their first treatment when spending over £15.00.  Plus it will be easier for me to monitor reward points for the ambassadors scheme for existing customers.   
 
Auto responders to send out e-mails
 
Many of you may be aware that we have been talking about having an auto responder system to send out e-mail automatically. 
 
The technology is quite new but when you agree to go on a ditribution list e.g. Caroline's weekly well being words, you will be sent an e-mail which will ask you to confirm your subscription by clicking a link.  If you don't do this you will not get the e-mails.
 
The reason for doing this is that we can send out different things to you (with your permission) - e.g. support materials when you are on a massage course, appointment reminders a couple of weeks before or even mini reports when you sign up on the website.  We are hoping to write one for Christmas called "Your 14 day beauty plan to look shunning for your Christmas party." 
 
You will only get the information that you ask for but will mean my customers can really benefit from my expertise and advice. 
 
Secret project
 
Shine is also working on a secret project (if Caroline sorts out the technology) which will be very exciting and cutting adge.  Watch this space.......
